Black Country Firms Invited to Discuss the Economy at Brexit Business Breakfast

Businesses across the Black Country are being invited to a free breakfast seminar to hear an expert discuss the implications of Brexit for local companies and the economy.

Recruitment agency Workforce Staffing is hosting the seminar to help businesses in the area learn more about the changing employment law landscape and the skills and labour challenges Brexit will create.

The seminar will also consider the implementation of The Matthew Taylor Review - a Whitehall-led report which gave recommendations to the government on the classification of workers.

The event takes place at Sixways Stadium in Worcester on Wednesday 18 October. It will start with breakfast and a networking session at 8:30am, finishing at 11:15am.

The event’s speaker will be Jeff Brooks, industry specialist and the managing director of PrimeSourcing.

Paul Alekna, CEO of Workforce Staffing, said: “Jeff will be providing insights on employment in the modern economy, focussing on the implications of Brexit, how people can prepare, the opportunities, and how recent employment recommendations will affect businesses in the Black Country.

“The seminar will be essential listening for anyone who employs contractors on a regular basis and overall, ideal for businesses who want to keep up with any changes the looming Brexit process will bring.”

Spaces for the seminar are limited and Workforce is offering the event on a first come first served basis. To book a place readers can contact Samantha Clarkson through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by calling 01527 509017.
