The Black Country Chamber of Commerce are holding their next Start-Up Business Club networking event on Wednesday 1st May for new businesses across the area.
A regular fixture in the Chamber’s calendar, the Start Up networking event in May will be held at West Midlands House in Willenhall and will run between 9.30am and 11.30am, guest speaker on the morning will be the Chamber’s Press, PR and Communications Officer, Sarah Thompson.
Sarah will be on hand to give an insight into the world of PR and journalism and provide a few tips on how to hit the headlines and get your business noticed across the media.
She has over 30 years of experience in the communications sector, in both consultancy and client-side roles and has worked with some the biggest names in industry including Goodyear Tyres, Capgemini, Hitachi Capital, Northern Foods, Volvo Cars, Kumho Tyres and Manchester United Football Club.
Sarah also ran her own consultancy business for 18 years. The Start Up Club networking events are run on a regular basis in a number of venues across the region by Start Up Relationship Manager, Alison Trinder, and are aimed at helping new businesses introduce their company, make connections, network and learn from experienced professionals to help develop the skills and the understanding needed for running a successful business.
