The Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2018 have been officially launched, celebrating the best in business from across the region.
With 10 categories for which you can apply, these Awards are an ideal platform to showcase your company and celebrate your success, as the Chamber seek to recognise those who uphold standards of excellence and innovation within their organisation.
In addition, the Chamber are once again working closely with the British Chambers of Commerce so that businesses who apply for particular categories will also be entered into the regional and national Awards.
Please note, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2018 are now open for entry and the deadline to apply is midnight on Friday 29th June 2018.
This year's Award categories include:
Best Use of Technology*
This Award recognises organisations that have fully exploited the range of technology available to them to grow their business.
Customer Commitment Award*
Ideal for those within the professional services sector, this Award recognises organisations with a focus on customer service and care.
Education & Business Partnership*
This Award recognises schools, further education colleges, universities and training providers that engage effectively with business.
Excellence in Manufacturing and Engineering
This Award is for your company if you excel in manufacturing or engineering performance. The judges will be looking at the processes in place that help you to achieve your success.
Export Business of the Year*
Whether a new or experienced exporter, you should enter this Award if you have achieved international growth, entered a new market or overcome trade barriers.
Small Business of the Year*
Open to organisations employing less than 50 full time members of staff, this Award will go to a company that has achieved consistent growth.
Social Impact Champion
This Award recognises businesses that are committed to corporate social responsibility and having a positive impact on the local area.
Tony Andrews Start-Up Award
In memory of Enterprise Advisor, Tony Andrews, and in partnership with Access2Business and SWEDA, this Award is for a company within their first 2 years of trading that have exceeded expectations at the start of their business' life cycle.
Workplace Wellbeing Award*
This Award recognises businesses that are creating an environment for their employees to succeed by demonstrating their commitment to the health and wellbeing of their workforce.
Young Person or Apprentice of the Year
This award recognises exceptional young employees (24 years or under) who may have overcome personal barriers or are making a difference within your organisation.
*These Awards are also British Chambers of Commerce Awards and entries will automatically be entered for the regional and national Awards.
You may apply for more than one award category and the awards are open to all members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce for free and to non-members at a fee.
Dates for your diary:
- All entries must be received by midnight on Friday 29th June 2018
- Finalists will be announced in September 2018
- Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner in November 2018
