Customers at City of Wolverhampton College’s hairdressing salons are set to benefit from a new range of professional colouring and styling products.
The college’s hair training academies in Wolverhampton and Telford are now using haircare products from leading American salon brand Matrix, including shampoos, conditioners, nourishing treatments and colours.
Salon stylists are also using the brand’s products to offer the latest trends – including balayage, blushing blonde, or tone-on-tone colours – as well as specialist treatments to maintain vivid colours, reduce brassy tones or give grey hair a boost.
The hair salons – at the Metro One campus in Bilston Street in Wolverhampton and Trevithick House, Stafford Park in Telford – are open to the public and enable students and apprentices studying for hairdressing qualifications to gain valuable experience of working with clients in a commercial setting. All students are supervised by fully qualified tutors and services on offer include blow dries from £6, cuts from £10, perms from £15 and highlights from £20.
