The Society has triumphed at the British Bank Awards 2019

In its monumental 160th year, Dudley Building Society has triumphed yet again, picking up the award for ‘Customer Service Champion’ at the British Bank Awards 2019. The event held at Café de Paris in London on 7th March 2019 celebrated the best products, hottest innovation and most trusted financial brands.

Described as the ‘one to win’, this recognition is a true reflection on the Society’s member first ethos. Head of Operations, Raj Bains comments ‘This is a fantastic achievement for the Society and recognises the quality of the service that we provide to our members. The award is a testament to our hardworking customer facing teams.’

This title has been given to the Society as a direct result of independent feedback received from its members via the Smart Money People platform. Up against a tough shortlist for the award including Starling Bank and Monzo, the recognition of the Society as ‘Customer Services Champion’ signifies the value that members still place on receiving exceptional service from their financial provider.

Smart Money People have recently released a report which found that Building society savings customers are 7% more satisfied than savings customers of bank. The Society is proud to reinforce this finding with this award.
