 Laila Joins Team IGNITE

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has welcomed a new member of the team to the IGNITE Hub, the business start-up space in Wolverhampton city centre.

Laila Hudson, from Lanesfield in Wolverhampton, has joined as customer service advisor to work alongside IGNITE Hub manager, Jas Raju.

Laila, who holds a law degree from the University of Wolverhampton, has moved from building company Taylor Wimpey, having previously worked at the University of Wolverhampton and Aldridge based legal practice, Partridge Allen Solicitors.

Laila, who enjoys yoga and salsa dancing in her spare time said, "I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with all partners at IGNITE. It has been a pleasure to help and support our members."

IGNITE Hub manager, Jas Raju said, “As customer service advisor Laila will play a key role in the relations between existing and new members as well as supporting the general admin operations of IGNITE.”

The City of Wolverhampton Council led project, supported by the Black Country Chamber and the University of Wolverhampton, was designed to join up the business support infrastructure across the city and Laila’s role will be to help market the venue along with advising its business users and overseeing bookings for each of the meeting spaces available at the centre.

IGNITE provides entrepreneurs, business start-ups, established growing SMEs, students and graduates with FREE bookable workspaces, resources and business support.

IGNITE (Innovate, Grow, Navigate, Ideas, Technology, Entrepreneurship) is located in ground floor units 3 and 4 of the i10 office and retail complex at the heart of Wolverhampton's transport Interchange, and, with its central location, is easily accessible from all transport routes including bus, rail and car.
