The Black Country Chamber of Commerce speaks to the Conference and Events Sales Manager at The Halls Wolverhampton, operated by AEG Presents.

Today’s Ready for 2024 interview features Helen Lees, Conference and Events Sales Manager at The Halls Wolverhampton, which is operated by AEG Presents, a patron of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.

Helen says that she is looking forward to growing the corporate conference and events business as well as staging top artists at both The Civic and Wulfrun Hall.

As part of Ready for 2024, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the companies looking forward to building success in 2024 by featuring member firms, ranging from start-ups to large companies, on the Chamber website and social media channels to get their views on the opportunities ahead.

Looking forward to the next 12 months, Helen would love to see continued growth in the Black Country economy and businesses supporting each other and sharing best practice.

What will your business be focussing upon in 2024?

We will be focusing on growing our corporate conference and events business as well as staging some top artists in both our Civic and Wulfrun Hall. We will be continuing to grow our team and training them to the highest of standards.

What are your hopes for the Black Country economy and its businesses in 2024?

We would love to see continued growth in the Black Country economy and see businesses supporting each other and sharing best practices.

Why will the Black Country be a great place to do business in the 12 months ahead?

With continued investment in the area and the right people in the right place of work, with their experience and enthusiasm, the Black Country is the place to be. With great transport links, the central location is the ideal place.

What will you use your Chamber membership for in the year ahead?

We will use our membership to continue to attend networking events, share best practice and support businesses.

What do you hope will happen for the UK economy as a whole? We would hope that the UK economy turns a corner and that small and large businesses receive the support they require to help it grow.

What does your company do?
