ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions celebrate Intern Day 2023!

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions are passionate about providing early talent opportunities and as part of their Early Talent Programme support ESPA (European Student Placement Agency) internships that help to develop valuable knowledge and skills in different areas across their business.

The 27th July marked Intern Day 2023, an awareness event dedicated to recognising early talent and leaders of the future. To celebrate, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions are shining a spotlight on some of their past and present ESPA interns – Meet Steven, Mariam and Axel.

One very important aspect of my internship is the amazing support I receive from the entire ASSA ABLOY team – whether it’s personal or professional, I’ve never faced a situation where I lacked assistance or guidance. The skills I have acquired and continue to build upon during this internship are highly applicable in the field of marketing and will undoubtedly contribute to my future success in the working world.

Steven Ramsis, Marketing and Market Research Intern

“Often, when people talk about internships, they think interns are given tedious tasks to carry out - however this isn't the case and certainly wasn’t my experience. I was given the right tools and the independence to experiment, which led to a successful product test - highlighting how the months spent researching and coming up with the best solution to a problem during my placement had a real impact on the organisation.”

Mariam Tabarik, Product Innovation Engineer

“My decision to join ASSA ABLOY was primarily motivated by the aspiring opportunities offered to develop my engineering skills through various projects and gaining exposure to different manufacturing areas. During my internship, I've worked on numerous projects, enhanced my English proficiency and I now have a better understanding of industrial engineering topics.”

Axel Roberts, Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern
