ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UKI awarded 'Large Employer of the Year' at this year's In-Comm Training and Business Awards.

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UKI are extremely proud and honoured to share that they were awarded ‘Apprentice Large Employer of the Year’ at this year’s In-Comm Training and Business Awards hosted on Friday 7th July for their outstanding support of Apprenticeships.

The organisation is passionate about providing early talent opportunities and engaging with students coming into the world of work and were recognised for their exciting initiatives including:

• Partnerships with schools and colleges – supporting career events showcasing how working in an innovative industry can open doors to exciting career journeys and hosting workshops / providing resources to aid students applying for job roles

• Internal activities such as their National Apprenticeship Week campaign, Apprentice of the Year awards and for their ‘out of the box’ fun and engaging application processes for their Apprenticeship Programme

• Commitment to creating exciting and enriching roles through their Apprenticeship Programme providing support. mentorship, opportunities to lead projects and investment in further education routes with many apprentices continuing their development journey through degrees

• Support for external apprenticeship campaigns – proactively supporting the National Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, promoting local labour market opportunities, STEM and T-Levels (to name just a few)

A real highlight and honour was receiving the ‘Large Employer of the Year’ award and I would like to personally thank all of our team members who contribute to making our programme a success and ultimately lead to us obtaining this award.
