BID director & Partner from Enoch Solicitors Stephen Nixon hosts Business event with Mary Portas

On Wednesday 7th June, a business event took place at Sutton Coldfield College organised by Royal Sutton Coldfield Business Improvement District (BID). The event featured High Street Guru Mary Portas - former government advisor, TV broadcaster, and retail expert.

The event attended by local business owners, BID board members, college students, and staff from local organisations offered an insightful evening on ways to improve business and the future of retail in Sutton Coldfield.

Stephen Nixon, who has been a qualified solicitor since 2010 was able to engage with the local Business Community in his role as a BID Director and delighted to be able to play a part in bringing such insight to the Town. He said:

“I thought it was excellent and a really positive coup for the town. It was great to see so many people engaging with us”.

A successful event and those who attended felt inspired as the common goal is to raise the profile of Sutton Coldfield town with the involvement of local businesses and the local community.
