Broadcast and production company joins Platinum Group.

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has welcomed training, broadcast and production specialists, BlackRook to its Platinum Group.

The Platinum Group is the Black Country Chamber of Commerce’s exclusive platform which sees senior leaders come together to tackle the challenges which impact their organisation and to explore opportunities to improve the region’s prospects.

The BlackRook Academy team of industry trainers run Digital Skills Bootcamps funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority. Working in partnership with City of Wolverhampton College, BlackRook’s social media content creator training is totally free for the unemployed and is offered at heavily subsidised rates for employers wanting to upskill members of their team.

BlackRook works with businesses to build online audiences across B2C and B2B platforms in a budget-friendly way that includes coaching on how to produce high quality video and stills using a smartphone.

The company’s coaching team has trained all the BBC’s UK digital apprentices over the last six years, as well as spokespeople at car-maker BMW.

The award-winning BlackRook Media production team works in broadcast, events, and documentary corporate video, serving clients across industry sectors in the UK and overseas too – with extensive work across the EMEA and APAC regions.

The BlackRook companies are run by Managing Directors Alan Rook and Lucy Rook.
