Chamber Golf Day a Swinging Success

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce hosted its first golf day for several years this week (29th Sept.) at Oxley Park Golf Club in Wolverhampton.

A superb day of competition with fun, fundraising and golf for over forty golfers who joined the Chamber team whilst coming together to raise funds for Black Country Mental Health.

Over a £1000 was raised on the day, helped by the generous golfing community from the Black Country business community, with the prestigious Black Country Golf Day Trophy won by Chamber Board member, Carl Baker from Nant Water Safety Specialists.

“It was an amazing day of golf,” said organiser Richard Brooks, membership adviser for the Chamber, “the round of golf from the Nant team pushed them ahead of the competition before they claimed the trophy, I hope they join us at next year’s event to defend their title.”

Nant were joined by teams from Purcell Branding, NatWest, Spec Savers, PIA Wealth Management, George Green Solicitors, Melrose Place, FSE Fund Managers, Talbots Law, Atmos XR, Warrens Hall Riding School and a guest team of former West Bromwich Albion Players.

The event will return in 2023, so for further details please contact grahamcroom@blackcountrychamber.co.uk or Neil Bettridge at Amros Golf Events www.amrospromotions.co.uk
