Chamber Mourns The Loss of Valued Member

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has been shocked and saddened to hear of the death of one of its most valued and well-respected members last week.

Ian Price, who died in hospital after being attacked by two dogs in Staffordshire on Thursday, was not only described by neighbours as a pillar of the community, but from those who knew and worked with him at the Black Country Chamber, as a ‘thoroughly decent and kind man who was always willing to help others.’

Ian, a director of Belle Arti Ltd based in Lichfield and Aldridge, a hard surface repair and training provider, had been a Chamber member for the last sixteen months and worked closely with students at Walsall College and alongside the Chamber’s Start Up Business Club Manager, Alison Trinder.

Alison said, “I was devastated when I realised the poor man who had been killed was one of our members. Ian was incredibly kind and hard working and our thoughts and prayers, here at the Chamber, are with his family and loved ones.

“My heart goes out to them.”
