Blackthorns Accountants Fundraising for First Class Foundation

Blackthorns Accountants, based at the Waterfront, Brierley Hill choose a local charity every year to support.

This year they are supporting First Class Foundation - Charity no: 1183050 a West Midlands based charity that strives to help families and young people in a time where many are experiencing the effects of the social and economic decline as well as youth violence, unemployment and the cost of living crisis.

Karen Turner, Managing Director at Blackthorns, said, “We are extremely passionate about supporting local Charites when we can. We hold various fundraising events throughout the year; but the main fund raiser is our Annual Charity Quiz Night! We would appreciate any fellow Chamber members who are able to support by entering a team this year. It is a fabulous, competitive night of fun and laughs, while helping to make a difference to our charity this year”

Where: The R’n’B Club, Bilston

When: 7pm for a 7.30pm start

Cost: £100 per team, to include refreshments

The team at Blackthorns have been fundraising since 2014 and over the years have raised a sum in excess of £200k for local charities.
