Dynamic Entrepreneur Named Speaker for International Women’s Day

With just fourteen days to go before this year’s International Women’s Day, Black Country Women in Leadership have announced their final speaker for the event on Wednesday the 8th of March.

Halesowen born, Charlotte Pearce the 'young dynamic force of nature who has been described as the UK's next Branson' (Gadgette), will join the line-up of speakers at the afternoon event, hosted at the offices of Higgs LLP in Brierley Hill.

Recently named as GB entrepreneur of the year, she’s also been in the Forbes 30 under 30, Maserati 100 and Young Entrepreneurs List, Charlotte is the Founder and CEO of a tech company with a differenceInkpact.

Inkpact, the multi-million-pound business, works with global brands such as Sweaty Betty, John Lewis, Mr and Mrs Smith, Moet Hennessy, Tiffany and Deliveroo helping to drive sales, retention and lifetime value by sending triggered handwritten notes.

Plugging the gap between emails and meeting in person, Inkpact allows companies at the touch of a button to send genuinely handwritten messages to their customers with notes and gifts written by their scribe tribe of over 1,000 people globally.

Passionate about people, marketing, technology, personal development and doing things differently, Charlotte is an experienced speaker whose inspirational story and bounds of energy captivates any room!

A popular and much sought after motivational speaker, she is an advisor to social enterprises, women in tech ambassador and a director of a £50,000 fund to accelerate student start-ups, the 24-year-old wears many hats.

Catching the entrepreneurial bug while at school in nearby Hagley, selling makeup and bags online before founding her first full-scale business Inkpact when she graduated from the University of Southampton, Charlotte’s other business, a consultancy for large corporates, uses innovation to solve their problems and inspire their teams.

Charlotte will join multi-award-winning creative entrepreneur, publicity coach, personal brand strategist and TV commentator, Dr Tru Powell, alongside leading lawyers Matt Dudley and Rhian Gray from Higgs LLP at the event which will focus on Reputation Matters.

The event, aimed at business leaders, entrepreneurs, and senior professionals, will cover everything from identifying, defining, and promoting your own personal brand, as well as how to become a person of influence in your business sector, right through to what to do when your reputation is damaged by adverse media coverage or significantly harmed across social media platforms.

There will be a legal insight into the action of defamation and what rights and remedies it involves, a look at what reputation management is all about, and what can be done when your reputation and brand image may not be what it seems.

The event will take place between 2pm and 5pm in The Atrium at the offices of Higgs LLP near Merry Hill, Dudley.
