Fill your job vacancies for free via the fully funded Restart Scheme

The Restart Scheme, a part of the Government's wider 'Plan for Jobs' programmes, is seeking employers for an upcoming Jobs Fair. The Restart Scheme aims to enhance skills for individuals (Participants) to secure long-term, meaningful employment. Serco delivers the Restart Scheme in partnership with 26 delivery partners across West Central England, on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Serco are presently on the lookout for employers from varying sectors, predominantly warehousing, retail and hospitality, to meet with job-ready candidates. The Jobs Fair is scheduled to take place with Serco’s delivery partner, Pilot IMS on Wednesday 20th March from 10am to 1pm in Halesowen.

Partnership Coordinator, Matthew Peniket from Serco said: “We are working in partnership with Pilot IMS to support the upcoming Jobs Fair. Pilot IMS are a well-established company who fully support our Restart Scheme Participants and are a joy to work with.

We envisage around 50-100 Restart Scheme Participants, who are keen to work, will be in attendance on the day. We’d welcome interest from local employers across the region to reach out to find out more about how they can promote their vacancies to job seekers via the fully funded Restart Scheme”.
