How Chamber Members Can Remember Her Late Majesty

Books of condolence available for members to sign

Like many of you, we were greatly saddened to learn of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II who was a greater supporter of business throughout her reign.

Her late Majesty was patron of the British Chamber Chambers of Commerce, a role she began on 23 June 1952 a few months after her ascension to the throne.

Members have been in touch to ask how they can show their respect. 

The Chamber network have made an online book available which can signed here.

Each of our local authority partners have made arrangements for people to sign books of condolence :

Dudley

Books of condolence are at Dudley Council House (9am - 5pm on 10 and 11 September) and at Top Church (11am - 3pm on 11 September and during services on 12 - 18 September, 2pm - 5pm).  Books are also located at all of the borough's libraries and the Dudley Archives during their standard opening hours.
 

Sandwell

An online book of condolence is available here and also available at Oldbury Library (Sandwell Council House), Blackheath Library, Smethwick Library, Glebefields Library (Tipton), Wednesbury Library and Central Library (West Bromwich) during their standard opening hours.


Walsall

People living in Walsall are invited to sign the online book or sign one of the books located at Walsall Town Hall (open every weekday, 9am - 6pm and 10am - 4pm at weekends).


Wolverhampton

Books are available at the Civic Centre (open 8:30 - 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday and Saturday) with the book moving to the Wolverhampton Art Gallery, 8:30am - 5pm on Sunday.  Additional books are available at WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams, Tettenhall Library and Wednesfield Library (click here for opening times).
