Today the Express & Star and Shropshire Star have unveiled a fresh new look for their websites, building on their reputation as the leading source for news and sport across the region.

The new expressandstar.com and shropshirestar.com sites are designed to highlight the exceptional journalism produced by both publications.

Now the websites will be delivering their top-notch journalism within an improved, more user-friendly interface.

From today users can explore the upgraded design, which showcases more original content than before. Editor-in-chief Martin Wright said the redesign not only enhances accessibility but also allows users to find content more easily than before.

“These fantastic new websites include a more intuitive layout featuring improved imagery and access to more articles,” said Martin. “The aim is to engage readers visually and provide aesthetically pleasing platforms for the content we produce for at both operations.

“We have also improved the user experience, streamlining the navigation of both sites and allowing users easy access to the content they want to read.

“This ambitious redesign aims to showcase the quality of articles on both websites, emphasising the extensive range of available content. Our company celebrates 150 years in 2024 and the work we have done on the redesigns reflects how three million people across the world visit our sites each month.
