The Black Country Chamber of Commerce speaks to the Commercial Director of MET Recruitment.

In another Ready for 2024 interviews, Nella Share, Commercial Director at MET Recruitment, says her team of employment specialists are primed to support clients to source high quality employees as the firm expands into new geographical areas in the 12 months ahead.

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the companies looking forward to building success in 2024.

Through Ready for 2024, we are highlighting members who are ready to deliver on their exciting plans during the 12 months ahead.

Each day we are featuring member firms, ranging from start-ups to large companies, on the Chamber website and social media channels to share their opinions on the opportunities for the taking during the next year.

As Commercial Director working with clients across many sectors, Nella says the Black Country is “an incredible place to do business” which she believes is “set to grow, change and diversify again”.

Nella says MET Recruitment will maximise its Platinum Chamber of Commerce membership as it adds “so much value to our business” and says she hopes the next year will “restore the faith in Black Country business leaders to press forward with investment and growth plans”.

What will your business be focussing upon in 2024?

The MET Recruitment team will be focusing on growing our share of the recruitment marketplace both locally and further afield, taking us into new geographical locations. We are also firmly focused upon strengthening our current foothold, ensuring our clients are aware that we can fulfil all of their recruitment needs not just the areas of recruitment that we currently fulfil for those clients.

What are your hopes for the Black Country economy and its businesses in 2024?

We hope for more certainty from the local business community in 2024, and economic stability that will restore the faith in Black Country business leaders to press forward with investment and growth plans.

Why will the Black Country be a great place to do business in the 12 months ahead?

The Black Country is already an incredible place to do business, we host some of the most successful organisations across a variety of sectors and the region is a melting pot for innovation! 2024 is going to be exciting as the region is set to grow, change and diversify again.

What will you use your Chamber membership for in the year ahead?

As is the case every year we plan to maximise the use of our Chamber membership, taking part in all the activities that we already know add so much value to our business. We understand that our chamber membership is very much a two-way street and we will only benefit from the work that we put in, so you will see various members of the MET team at networking events, best practice forums and supporting the chamber initiatives just as much as they support us and our endeavours.

What do you hope will happen for the UK economy as a whole?

Stability and confidence are absolutely key to ensuring that businesses feel comfortable to innovate, grow and invest. We would like to see individuals in a better position against the cost of living crisis in order that people begin to thrive not simply survive.

What does your company do?
