About the company - MoRServ

Chris Dowen and Jason Moseley are both retired Police Officers and Meg Dowen spent many years as a leading Manager working in the public sector. They are driven by their desire to make a difference by revolutionising businesses’ daily response to risk through a people centred, simple tech approach.

As a purpose driven business, it was incredibly important that the App is affordable, so that it is accessible to businesses of all shapes and sizes. The three founders felt that technology and processes can be too complex and the AURa Business app was designed with affordability and simplicity at its heart.

Officially formed in 2021, AURa is the sister company of MoRServ, providers of risk, intelligence and transformation consultancy. MoRServ was a highly commended Start-Up business of the year at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce 2022 Business Awards. AURa is an acronym of a simple approach: A - Active mindset, U - Understand your risks, R - Respond to your risks, leading to a -achieving your goal.

The AURa Business App is one of a suite of revolutionary solutions. AURa Care was launched in December 2022 and is designed for Adult Care Services to achieve Care Quality Commission Compliance. AURa Protect launches later this year to help organisations respond to the introduction of the new government Protect Duty legislation, known as 'Martyn's Law'. Martyn Hett, along with 21 other people, was killed in the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017.

AURa Business is proud to be included in the new BCCC membership offer. Chris, Meg and Jason have worked and lived in the region for a combined 90 years and, as proud Black Country folk, they want to help revolutionise Black Country businesses with AURa’s fast, simple and powerful software that will enable them to operate with confidence.
