Halesowen College is gearing up to mark National Apprenticeship Week which runs from 5 – 11 February 2024.

The theme for this year is `Skills for Life’ and the College will be celebrating the success and progress of its apprentices across different areas including education, medical, IT, business administration and finance.

The College runs a range of apprenticeships and helps local businesses add to their existing workforce. Apprenticeships are good for new and existing employees to train new talent or develop existing skills.

Gary Johnson, Employment Engagement Manager at Halesowen College, said: “We are really looking forward to celebrating National Apprenticeship Week and highlight the success of our apprenticeships.

“Hiring an apprentice is a productive and effective way of developing a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce. And for an apprentice it is great way of getting industry experience as well as developing skills and confidence.”

The College advertises all its apprenticeship opportunities on its website, visit www.halesowen.ac.uk, or email apprenticeships@halesowen.ac.uk.
