New Wingstop restaurant coming soon to Merry Hill

Merry Hill has announced it is set to welcome award-winning, buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant, Wingstop, in the first half of 2024, as the centre’s dining options continue to grow.

Wingstop Merry Hill will have room for 70 diners and will serve its classic wing selection, alongside a variety of boneless wings, tenders, chicken burgers, seasoned fries and freshly made dips. The unique flavours cover ten distinct seasonings to suit any taste, from the sweet and tangy Hawaiian to blazing hot Atomic. Sweet treats like Oreo or Lotus Biscoff churros will also be on the menu.

Wingstop will be serving up its signature wings on the Upper Mall opposite the recently opened wagamama and continues to extend the line-up of already vibrant food and drink options. The fan-favourite fast-food joint also adds to the centre’s emerging leisure quarter following the recently launched Hollywood Bowl, creating a family-friendly hub for eating and entertainment.

Tom Grogan, Co-Founder & Director of Wingstop UK, said: “Launching our latest Wingstop location at Merry Hill represents not only our commitment to expanding Wingstop nationwide but also our dedication to becoming a staple in the West Midlands.

“Having already been warmly embraced in Birmingham, we’re thrilled to bring our unique flavours and experience to even more fans in the region. Joining the vibrant community of F&B retailers within the destination is a prospect we’re eagerly looking forward to.”

Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager at Merry Hill, added: “Wingstop will be an exciting addition to Merry Hill as we continue to provide even more choice for how visitors spend time with us.

“We’re sure the restaurant with its American style flavours will be a firm favourite for our visitors, in addition to the recently opened wagamama, popular Nandos restaurant and everything Eat Central has to offer.”
