An interactive Workshop to help your business understand and build resilience against cyber attacks, and major disruptions such as fire, theft and power outages

City of Wolverhampton Council is hosting a Networking Breakfast Workshop on Cyber Security, Business Resilience and Continuity Planning on 8th June at Wolverhampton Science Park

Using a combination of police officers and cyber talent, the Cyber Resilience Centre for the West Midlands supports and helps protect small business, SMEs and supply chain businesses and third sector organisations in the region against cyber crime.

Detective Superintendent Vanessa Eyles who heads up the Centre will share some top tips, address some common misconceptions, provide insight through case studies, outline the affordable cyber security testing and training services available, advise on learning how to procure private sector cyber security products, and also make the offer of a free cyber health check.

Chelsea Sibley, from the City Councils Business Resilience Team, will also provide a broad review of Business Continuity Planning – so alongside any impacts from loss of mobile phones and website gaps through to cyber-attacks, we will also cover planning for business continuity in the face of major disruptions such as power outages, floods and fire, and theft. This will be an interactive Workshop concluding with a scenario planning session to help strengthen your approach to building resilience and ensuring business continuity.
