We would like to update you on the amazing and exciting news from Woodhall Products Limited.

To expand our current range of 3D printers we have invested in an Extreme Builder 1500 Pro!!! This large format printer (one of the largest FDM Printers) is able to produce models larger than anything we have had in the past. As a result, large prototypes can be produced as complete models instead of ether shrinking a part down to fit smaller 3D printers or producing the model in sections. This large printer benefits small production runs, as more parts can fit on the printer’s build plate enabling a quicker turn around and therefore lowering cost.

Also we have invested in 3D Scanning technology!!! Our Peel3 is the latest in cutting edge technology that allows the user to scan ANY object, from a small clip to a van or car.

We all know that drawing parts accurately sometimes can be problematic especially when dimensions and surfaces are curves and or irregular shapes. Our Scanner for example, can scan these irregular parts accurately and quickly (depending on the size of the part saving time and money in development), whereas before drawing would have taken longer.

When you have finished scanning you can export the part as an STL file to be 3D printed or uploaded to CAD. In CAD, models can be redesign and modified if required or CNC machined.

This new technology greatly increases our capabilities to design, reverse engineer parts more accurately than ever before.
