Award Applications Deadline Extended
Searching For Talent, Tenacity & Transformation……….
You've asked and we've listened!
With the hustle and bustle of summer holiday breaks and the kids just back to school, businesses across the region have been asking for more time to showcase their talent to apply for the region’s biggest business awards.
So, with the ever-popular Black Country Chamber of Commerce business awards returning again this year for another glamorous live evening ceremony, and with new award categories, the application deadline has been extended to this Friday, the 15th of September 2023, with a deadline of 5pm.
Now in their 22nd year, the awards will once again reflect the challenges businesses face whilst revealing a host of new categories which reflect the changing economic climate and a programme that has rapidly been established as a mark of quality for the region’s businesses.
The awards, to be held once again at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Thursday the 9th of November, will shine a spotlight on individual businesses and people working in vital parts of the region’s economy whilst championing the talent, tenacity and transformation which puts the Black Country on the map.
Having already attracted a number of prestigious and high-profile sponsors, including Sandwell Council, the University of Wolverhampton, Thursfields Solicitors, the Black Country & Marches Institute of Technology and Oldbury based voestalpine Metsec, the region’s longest running business support organisation will be supported by a panel of industry judges who will put businesses and individuals through their paces over the coming weeks to find the best of the best.
Sarah Moorhouse, Chamber CEO said, “This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the innovative, successful, and high-performing businesses that are located right across our region.
“Always popular, we have extended the deadline with many people just returning back to the office after the holiday season and telling us they need more time to complete their applications.
“With a wide range of categories on offer, our 2023 business awards will offer recognition to a range of sectors and business approaches, which all contribute to driving forward growth and investment across the area, as well as celebrate the region’s talent and tenacity.”
“There is a huge appetite for our awards gala night which are only possible because of local business support; I would like to thank all the sponsors involved again this year.”
