Sponsorship and teambuilding opportunities at charity 5k Superhero Fun Run

The Dudley Group NHS Charity is delighted to announce its 5k Superhero Fun Run on Sunday 9 June 2024 at Himley Hall. The charity is looking for support from local businesses.

Working with local charities have the bonus of seeing first hand the good things that come from your generosity. Most charities are happy to work with you to obtain joint objectives and the Dudley Group NHS Charity is passionate about ensuring all partnerships achieve the feel-good factor.

Sponsoring a local charity event is a great way to support people in your community. The financial donation will help the charity finance the event.  But you can also spread the word with some creative marketing on your website and social media to promote the event on behalf of the charity.

In addition to sponsorship, another added value for your company is the opportunity for staff teambuilding.  In this instance, imagine a group of your colleagues, all dressed as superheroes, raising money to support children at your local hospital.  It's a win win opportunity.

Karen Phillips, Fundraising Manager at DGNHS Charity says: "Help us to change the way we care for the children who visit our hospital. When in hospital children are subject to potentially distressing sights and sounds at a time that is already upsetting enough. It is important to be able to offer a less clinical environment in which to treat patients. We can create changes that will make such a big difference to a child's first, and lasting, impressions of their visit to our hospital."
