In the latest Ready for 2024 interview, Steve Hyde, Sales Director at IT asset management company Spotbuyer Ltd, says he will be focussing on winning more local business in the 12 months ahead.

What will your business be focussing upon in 2024?

We will be focussing on winning more local business. We pride ourselves on being part of the circular economy and already service many major UK corporates, but we would love to help people locally as well.

What are your hopes for the Black Country economy and its businesses in 2024?

We are hoping for growth through innovation, and also a more stable year than 2023.

Why will the Black Country be a great place to do business in the 12 months ahead?

I believe the region has a focus and determination to prosper. With councils struggling, it’s time for the private sector to shine.

What will you use your Chamber membership for in the year ahead?

We are hoping to use our Chamber membership for networking.

What do you hope will happen for the UK economy as a whole?

We are hoping that it turns the corner and we see growth and stability for workers.
