Candidates from across the Black Country turned out for a recruitment event hosted by water safety specialists Nant Ltd.

The event, which took place at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on May 10th aimed to fill a number of technical and office-based roles.

As part of the assessment process, candidates were invited to network with Nant colleagues, complete a personality test and take part in a formal interview.

Following the day, a number of candidates have been shortlisted for the roles. Career opportunities on offer included legionella risk assessor, water hygiene specialist, legionella plumbing specialist, L8 remote and product specialist, help desk co-ordinator and accounts assistant.

The recruitment drive comes on the back of a successful 12 months of rapid growth for Bilston based Nant who specialise in legionella water testing for clients including care homes, gyms and restaurants.

Nant People and Culture Manager Abbie Loveitt commented:

“It was an amazing day. We saw an exceptional number of highly motivated candidates who were keen to learn new skills or build on existing experiences.

“Jugan, who we recruited from the event, started this week and it’s great having that existing bond with him before he even started and it’s nice that when he comes into the office, he already knows some of us.”

Nant General Manager Gary Baker added:

“A fantastic new approach to meeting new candidates for employment, extremely proud of the team for organising a great and successful day.

“We plan to run the event again in the near future.”
